Therapist Partner Program

Event: Constellations- Music, Movement, Mental Health

Date: March 28, 2026

Location: Ice House, Minneapolis, MN

Constellations is part of a series of concerts hosted by Lost Arts & Media (formerly Polyrhythmic Arts) to increase access to mental health care for Twin Cities artists and marginalized communities.

Constellations’s Therapy Pass is a referral program made possible by partners with licensed & pre-licensed therapists to expand short-term therapy. Therapy Passes are funded via ticket sales and donations at the Constellations show

What is the Therapy Pass?

• Short-term therapy access for BIPOC & Queer Identified artists (self-identified)

• Community-funded, not insurance-based

• Therapist-led clinical decision-making

• Bounded in scope and time

How Constellations Therapy Passes Work

• Artists request Therapy Passes from Lost Arts & Media

• Lost verifies number of passes remaining and provided list of available therapy partners

• Artist reviews bios and contacts a therapist

• Should therapist determine it is a good fit, artist will schedule 1 intake and up to 3 sessions, ideally for short-term therapy focusing on 1 issue. After this, therapist may discharge client or create a plan to maintain care. This is left to therapist discretion

What this is Not

• Crisis or emergency mental health care

• A long-term caseload commitment

• An employment or contractor relationship

• A marketing or visibility requirement

FAQ

This FAQ is intended for therapists interested in partnering with Constellations’s Referral Program. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about scope, autonomy, payment, and how Constellations Therapy Passes work in practice. This information is designed to support clarity and informed participation prior to completing the Therapist Inquiry Form above.

  • A Constellations Therapy Pass covers a short-term therapy package consisting of:

    • 1 intake session

    • Up to 3 therapy sessions

Services are delivered within a brief or solution-focused framework, as clinically appropriate.

  • Clients are artists who have been issued a Constellations Therapy Pass through Lost Arts & Media.

Clients receiving services through a Constellations Therapy Pass are your clients, not clients of Lost Arts & Media or Constellations.

We aim to prioritize BIPOC and queer identified artists, self-identified. However, all artists are welcome to apply

  • No.

Constellations Therapy Passes are intended for short-term, non-emergency mental health support. Therapists retain full discretion to assess whether a client’s needs exceed the scope of this program and may refer out when appropriate.

  • Lost Arts & Media does not assign clients to therapists.

    Instead:

    • Artists receive access to a public list of participating therapists

    • Artists contact therapists directly to inquire about availability and fit

    • Therapists determine whether to accept a client after intake

  • Therapists are responsible for:

    • Monitoring their own capacity for Constellations Therapy Passes

    • Notifying Lost Arts & Media if they are full or have limited availability

Availability listings are updated weekly and may not reflect real-time capacity.

  • For therapists who choose the sliding-scale option:

    • $100 per redeemed therapy pass is issued by Lost Arts & Media

    • Payment is sent via check or PayPal, based on therapist preference

    • Payment occurs after verification of the pass

Therapists who elect to provide services fully pro bono will not receive payment.

Lost Arts & Media does not guarantee a specific number of pass redemptions.

  • Therapy passes must be redeemed by September 1, 2026, unless agreed otherwise between therapist and Lost Arts & Media. Unredeemed passes expire after that date.

  • No.

After completion of the agreed sessions, therapists may:

    • Discharge the client

    • Provide referrals or psychoeducation

    • Transition to longer-term treatment

Continuation of care is never required.
